May Pang with John Lennon (Photo: May Pang)

The “Lost Weekend” lasted for 18 months from late 1973 through 1975. Pang took candid photos of Lennon during this highly creative time for him. During this time he collaborated with rock legends Elton John, David Bowie, Harry Nilsson, Mick Jagger and Ringo Starr, among others. Lennon had his most commercially productive period post-Beatles, with the albums “Mind Games,” “Rock and Roll,” and “Walls and Bridges,” which included his only #1 Hit Single, “Whatever Gets You Through the Night."

“The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang” coincides with the digital release of the feature film documentary of the same name. Available on all platforms.
